A certain parcel of ground being situated South of the Town of Berwick, Parish of St. Mary, Louisiana, known, designated and described as the East half of Lot No. 1 of the Howe Addition to said Town of Berwick, as surveyed and platted December 31st, 1877 by George Villare, to which map reference is hereby made; containing a superficial area of one and eighty seven and one half hundredths acres (1.87 ˝) more or less, and which is more particularly bounded as follows, to-wit: On the North by land now or formerly of John Robinson in part and in part by land of Brown, Townsend and Knight, now or formerly on the East by a Street, formerly of Washington Messiah, and on the West now or formerly by land of Charles Jones; together with all the improvements, rights, ways, privileges, servitudes thereto belonging and appertaining. Being more particularly shown and designated as Tract “ABCDA” on a map or plan of land made by T.F. Kramer, Civil Engineer and Surveyor, of date March 21st, 1955, which is attached to an Act of Sale from Dorothy Patterson Edwards, et al to the St. Mary Parish School Board recorded in St. Mary Parish Conveyance Book 9-B, Page 467, Entry No 92,387. Being the same property acquired by the St. Mary Parish School Board by act of sale from Dorothy Patterson Edwards, et als, recorded in St. Mary Parish Conveyance Book 9-B, Entry No. 92,387 on June 2, 1955. |
