Agreement to Bid
I, the undersigned, in
consideration of the United States Government offering for public sale the
property described below, agree to bid at least the amount of $335,000.00 for
the property if offered for sale within 120 days from the date of this
agreement.

I authorize the enclosed deposit of $67,000.00 to be applied against the sale price if I am the successful bidder.
I
further understand and agree that if I do not bid at least the amount specified
in this agreement to bid and the property is not sold within the time specified
above for at least such amount, my deposit will be retained pending final
determination of the damages sustained by the Government because of the
default. If damages exceed the amount of the deposit, I will be liable
for the excess damages.
I understand that the Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to withdraw the property from sale.

acres of land out of the Imperial Sugar Companys Sugar Land Townsite Tract in
S. N. Williams League, Abstract No. 97, Fort Bend County, Texas, and being the
same land described in a deed from Imperial Sugar Company to Arthur Rushing and
wife, Emma L. Rushing recorded in Volume 394, Page 556 of the Deed Records of
Fort Bend County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and
bounds as follows:

Connection Begin at an iron pipe that is a Southerly Northwest corner of the
Sugar Land School Property and is South 11 deg. 45 East 25.0 feet from the
centerline of Second Street and being the Northeast corner of and PLACE OF
BEGINNING for this tract, said pipe is South 12,858.33 feet and West 2,787.27
feet from the Northwest corner of the Brown & Belknap League, Abstract 15,
