The Internal Revenue Service may be conducting a public auction in the San Leandro, California area in the very near future. The items that will likely be offered are: Assets of an electrical wiring business including, but not limited to, welding equipment, wire, transformer boxes, tools, electrical parts, rope, ladders, hoses, wrenches, pulleys, office equipment, furniture, and much more.

This sale will be conducted under IRC Section 6336, Perishable Goods. This means that the property will be sold under expedited procedures because the assets will either perish or will lose their value if stored over a period of time. This will be a cash sale and the property must be removed the same day. There will be no minimum bid and the sale will be absolute. We do not charge sales tax or a buyer’s premium.
