Under the authority in Internal Revenue Code section 7506, the property described below will be sold at public auction on an open occupancy (nondiscriminatory) basis. The United States redeemed this property under the provisions of Section 7425 of the Internal Revenue Code. The sale will be by public auction to be held as follows:

Title Offered: Only the right, title and interest of the Internal Revenue Service in and to the property will be offered for sale.

This two story single family residence was built in 1890 and has 3,377 finished square feet., Family room, (3) bedrooms, (2) full baths, (1) half bath, and a finished attic.

The Terms of Payment: A deposit equal to 20 percent of the minimum bid ($60,000) on the property is required within (1) one hour of acceptance of the highest bid. The remaining balance is due no later than Tuesday, December 15, 2009.
 
Form of Payment: All payments must be by cash, certified check, cashier´s or treasurer´s check or by a United States postal, bank, express, or telegraph money order. Make check or money order payable to the United States Treasury.
 
Mail-In Bid option available.

If the highest bidder defaults in payment of the bid price, and the property is not sold for at least the amount of the highest bid, the bidder’s deposit will be retained pending final determination of the damages the Government sustained because of the bidder’s default. If damages are more than the amount of the bidder’s deposit, the bidder will be liable for the excess damages.

The Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to withdraw the property from the sale.
