Legal Description: Assessor’s Parcel Number 127-252-008 (approximately 25 acres) – 1265 San Miguel Canyon Road, Watsonville, California 95706., located in Monterey County, California, described as:

Beginning in the middle of the San Miguel Canyon Road at the Northwest corner of land of Hamby, from which a witness post marked T and H in the fence bears N. 69 ¼ degrees E., 45 Links distant; thence on the Northerly boundary of said land of Hamby N. 69 ¼ degrees E., 24.56 chains to a station; thence N. 20 ¾ degrees W., 11.17 chains to a station; thence S. 69 ¼ degrees W. 20.24 chains to the middle of said road from which a witness stake bears N. 69 ¼ degrees E., 45 links distant; thence along the middle of said road S. 0 degrees 25’ W., 11.97 chains to the place of beginning, and being the same land described in the Deed dated June 4, 1906, of record in Vol. 91 of Deeds, at Page 394, in the office of the County Recorder of Monterey County, California.

The Terms of Payment: The successful bidder shall be required to deposit at the time of the sale with the Internal Revenue Service Property Appraisal and Liquidation Specialist, a minimum of $10,000, with the deposit to be made by certified check or cashier’s check payable to the Clerk, United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Before being permitted to bid at the sale, bidders shall display to the Internal Revenue Service proof that they are able to comply with this requirement. No bid will be accepted from anyone who has not presented that proof. The balance of the purchase price for the property is to be paid to the Property Appraisal and Liquidation Specialist at Internal Revenue Service, 55 South Market Street, HQ5410, San Jose, CA, within twenty (20) days after the date the bid is accepted, by a certified or cashier’s check payable to the Clerk, United States District Court for the Northern District of California. In the event the successful bidder defaults on any of the terms contained herein, the deposit shall be forfeited as part of the proceeds of the sale, and the real property shall again be offered for sale.
The sale of the real property shall be subject to confirmation by the Court. Upon receipt of the entire purchase price and confirmation of the sale, a deed will be issued conveying the real property to the purchaser. Upon confirmation of the sale, all interests in, liens again, or claims to, the real property that are or may be asserted by any of the parties to this action are discharged and extinguished. There are no redemption rights.
The property is offered for sale “where is” and “as is” and without recourse against the United States. The United States makes no guarantee of condition of the property, or its fitness for any purpose. The United States will not consider any claim for allowance or adjustment or for the rescission of the sale based on failure of the property to comply with any expressed or implied representation.
