FFB holdings of obligations issued, sold or guaranteed by other Federal agencies totaled $29.8 billion on August 31, 2006, posting an increase of $199.0 million from the level on July 31, 2006. This net change was the result of an increase in net holdings of government-guaranteed loans of $199.0 million. The FFB made 32 disbursements and received 5 prepayments during the month of August.
