U.S. Treasury Secretary Geithner to Travel to Germany for Meetings with Senior Government Officials on Monday

 
WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of the Treasury today announced that Secretary Timothy Geithner will travel to Germany for meetings with senior government officials on Monday, July 30 to discuss the U.S., European and global economies.
 
On Monday afternoon, Secretary Geithner will meet with German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble in Sylt, Germany. The meeting is closed press; there will be a brief photo opportunity for still photographers at the top of the meeting. For more information, please contact presse@bmf.bund.de.
 
In the evening, the Secretary will meet with European Central Bank President Mario Draghi in Frankfurt, Germany. This meeting is closed press.
