 Recent U.S. Economic Growth - in Charts

Treasury released a set of charts examining the forces affecting recent economic growth in the United States.

Together, these charts show how the economy has gradually strengthened, growing for eleven consecutive quarters despite significant challenges. Even with the legacy of the financial crisis – including pre-crisis increases in household debt and a large decline in wealth before 2009 – and the shocks that have occurred since, the private sector has been resilient.
