 Secretary Geithner’s Remarks on "The Path Ahead for the U.S.-China Economic Relationship”

Secretary Geithner delivered remarks at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where he discussed our economic relationship with China, ahead of President Hu’s state visit to Washington. In his speech, Secretary Geithner said that building a closer, stronger economic relationship is essential to America’s interests and to China’s. He outlined a path for mutual cooperation and success at a time of important transition for the world economy, the Chinese economy, and the U.S. economy.
