​WASHINGTON – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with Central Bank Governor Augustin Carstens of Mexico.  Secretary Mnuchin and Governor Carstens discussed the importance of working together on common objectives for the IMF and the G-20. The Secretary underscored the closeness of the bilateral relationship and working together on a thriving commercial relationship. Secretary Mnuchin and Governor Carstens highlighted the close partnership between Treasury and Banxico in countering illicit finance and importance of increased cooperation to disrupt criminal activity.
