Talent Acquisition

The HR Connect Program Office (HRCPO) talent acquisition system, CareerConnector, is an online hiring system that automatically rates applicants and places them in value categories. It provides applicants, HR practitioners and managers with a 21st Century recruiting solution that meets all federal hiring reform requirements. 
  • Applicants - apply to jobs anytime via, save job opportunities of interest, get iPhone and iPad job updates -- then transfer information seamlessly to CareerConnector to check job closing dates, complete job applications and check status on previous applications. 

  • HR Practitioners - CareerConnector automatically rates and ranks applicants, and offers scheduling capabilities. CareerConnector is integrated with both HR Connect and to eliminate redundant data entry, increase data accuracy and streamline business processes. Managers and HR practitioners use the tools provided in CareerConnector to develop job questions and crediting plans.

  • Managers - preview job announcements, obtain certificates online and make selections in real time. Managers can also take advantage of a robust reporting tool to help measure, track and report time-to-hire data. In addition, CareerConnector offers a survey tool that tracks hiring satisfaction and recruitment sources.
