HR Connect is the HR Connect Program Office (HRCPO) core human resource system, and the foundation of HRCPO’s comprehensive suite of solutions. HR practitioners, managers and employees use HR Connect to perform a wide array of transactions at various stages of an employee’s life cycle.
Supervisors use HR Connect to manage human capital and better utilize organizational data for strategic decision making. The system’s paperless personnel actions electronically route actions for approval, greatly reducing processing time and the human error associated with manual processing. As a result, HR practitioners are partially relieved of cumbersome paperwork and are better able to participate in supporting their agencies’ strategic objectives.
To date, more than two million transactions involved in hiring, promoting, transfers, emergency contact information and separations and have been processed through HR Connect. The result is that – in addition to saving time and reducing cost – HR practitioners are able to “shift” more time to strategic activities that help meet their agencies’ core objectives.
